Audited, managed, charter income increases the nett worth of the vessel upon sale and the resale value of quarter shares
Charter income offsets fixed costs and is attractive even with increased engine hours and renewal of soft furnishings
Chartering keeps the vessel's systems at optimum levels - usage is better than static on the home port mooring
"Our first charter was accomodating eight bodyguards of a middle-eastern Royal Family who had chartered three vessels; our 28M, a 40M for servants and entourage and a 60M for the Family......Accompanied by two Guardia Civil boats leaving port was more like a regatta than a charter ! "

Charter overview.....

Selective chartering of unused weeks is a key factor in offsetting ownership costs. Although some owners are reluctant to ever charter their vessel there is acutally little downside. Yes, there will be more hours on the engines and the fabric of the vessel may need refurbishing more often but the income stream can be considerable.

The key to charter is to market through leading brokers in the principal areas of operation. Fractional Solutions, with over ten years experience of owning and chartering a superyacht, have a network of such brokers who will use their existing client lists to promote your vessel. Chartering is an international business spanning the EU, Russia, Middle East, Far East and the Americas. Generally, the Mediteranean charter level has maintained growth since 2000.

Charters may last for a few days, a week or, in one case, two months! Even in port there are lucrative opportunities for static corporate events, photo shoots and TV work.

With weekly charter rates between £30,000 and £50,000 we can market surplus weeks on your behalf.
